Valerie Flax

Valerie Flax studied Fine Arts at Mason Gross School of the Arts. Her focus there was mainly on painting and drawing, but through experimenting with other college art courses like paper-making and sculpture, she found a love of working with multiple mediums. This set her up for much of the work she creates today using collage and texture.

She currently resides in New Jersey with her family. When she's not working as a fitness trainer or driving her kids to soccer practice (in a minivan, no less!), she is making art.
